Ok I've only heard the 3 types. So what you are saying is there is a pure synthetic. Makes sense.

The 2 free are what GM provides for the dealer. Anything else on top is the dealer's decision, which is why you see some people have gotten more oil changes.
Why haven't you purchased a 2016 Camaro yet? Are you going to buy one or are you just hanging out on Camaro6? You posted several times about the great price you're going to get. It's an outstanding car, go for it.

I'm not going to waste my money like you. I'll get it for cheaper than you guys have paid for it. Yes it's a great car but it's a business transaction for which I won't get ripped off. So if you don't like me hanging ariund and talking about the better price I will pay than you paid, you can ignore me or not. I really don't care.

But I'm not going anywhere.

LOL Buying a car, a sports car for pleasure is not a business decision. Your financial advisor lied to you! Now go buy the new Ford GT40 coming out this year might be a business decision. Save the headaches for everyone. Go buy one get your free for life oil changes and show us.

A great deal is in the eye of the beholder. Waiting 12 months to save a couple thousand is not worth most people's time if they are successful. Plus you end up losing that amount because you just bought a year old car. Might as well buy used.

Can you just move on from you getting the best deal ever when you have never bought a new car and have no clue how to go about it.
I've bought 2 new cars in my life, and both were ordered - a 2000 Prelude in Dec. of 1999 and the 2009 Accord ex-l V6 6 speed coupe in May of 2009.

The sticker on the Prelude was $24,450 and I paid $21,230 out the door for it. The Accord was $29,450 and I paid $26,860 out the door with free scheduled maintenance for 3 years. Jay Honda in Bedford, Ohio.

Both cars, when I say out the door, I mean including tax, title, all dealer/doc fees, 30 day tag.

The Camaro is going to be my every day driver and I intend to put 200,000 miles on it, to have worn out seats in 6 years, for my engine bay to get dirty, for my trunk to get dirty from picking up bags of mulch every year.... It is NOT a garage queen or a "fun day" car to me. If that's how you see it fine. That's your opinion. I happen to believe you should have fun with your everyday car. What's the point in buying the Camaro if you aren't going to drive it all the time?

If I buy it new a year or two from now it's still a new car, and next year's model isn't going to get any changes from the 2016. So why on earth would I pay more right now to get the same exact thing cheaper later??????

My point goes to what I believe that everyone is paying too much for the Camaro right now, yet they all seem to justify it and support the dealers and salesmen. I've never seen anything like it to be honest. Most people I've talked to on car forums hate car salesmen and don't believe a word they say. People here stick up for them and whatever they've paid for the Camaro now. All I'm doing is saying people are paying too much, negotiate a little harder.

Mobil 1 used as factory fill on the s51 Vette, not the base Vette. The 2 free oil changes are all Mobil 1, no matter what c7 Vette you own. Per Chevy customer service.

You do not know what people are paying is the problem. I got a lot off of my deal and unless you get a rebate or based on recent news the economy keeps heading the way it is. You will not get any better. I used the industry information to secure the deal. Not random negotiating tactics that do not work. If you feel you can do better but there is no hard proof just relentless guessing and assuming.

This is every one's point. You are on a Camaro forum and have 2,000 + posts and no Camaro.

I for one will be done with any additional comment or reading your rants. Pointless and steering a discussion in the wrong directions.

You really believe you got a better deal than anyone will get in 6 months or a year for now? That's pure delusional. Why don't you share with us how you got more than supplier or employee discount. Since to be the best deal you would have to beat those.
