Buick Avista vs. Chevy Camaro

GMInsidenews.com is running a poll.
Simple question: Which design team did a better job? Avista or Camaro?

Oh and for all the GN fans hoping this car gets the LT4 awesomeness???

Remember last years show queen the Buick Avenir? RWD awesomeness? Showed up as the FWD LaCrosse.

Still likely this could show up as a Cascada coupe...........but I hope not.

Depends. Camaro hits the Bad A$$ meter pretty hard. The Buick? Elegance is not what Camaro buyers are looking for. This Buick has more style than Cadillac is showing. Just WOW.

With Holden going away this is what they plan to be the NEXT Chevy SS << Doesn't look like a sports car but a sporty Sedan. JUST my thoughts. The GEN 6 will be my last TOY. Then I'll retire to the OLD folks SUV LOL

Camaro SS wins simply based on the LT1+stick.
The ONLY way the Buick has a prayer is if it offers a PERFORMANCE tuned AWD system.
The lack of performance AWD is why I won't buy a Cadillac.
The lack of a stickshift is why I won't even consider the current CTS-V, and the lack of a pushrod V8 is why I won't consider the ATS-V sedan either.
Not to mention, I prefer the 2016 Camaro interior to any of Cadillac's.

Most importantly, this Buck with the identical dimensions and chassis of the 2016 Camaro exposes how the Camaro design team completely failed, especially due to the terrible visibility and virtually useless back seat and trunk of the Camaro.
Even as a 2016 Camaro SS owner, I can be objective and honest about my car.

Both the Avista and the Camaro have a 110" wheel base. It will be interesting to see if it based on the Alpha or Delta platform. Good performance and upscale luxury. Looks like it will be placed above Camaro and under ATS-V. I see this being more of a true competitor to Cadillac than Chevy. It does have nice lines but then that is what concept cars are supposed to have.

IT is a HARDTOP at least in concept. Most here,if not all ,have never driven a hardtop. If it is produced AND it remains a Hardtop it is worth a look...V-8 or not...

Not fair to compare concept car to a production car.

That Buick is beautiful. Put a strong powertrain (lt1 or ttv6) and I'd buy it over a camaro.

It's gotta be alpha. It also has the exact same track front and rear as the Camaro SS
