Eh. Doesn't say what platform it's on but it does have the 400hp v6 and rwd. It has the same wheelbase as the Camaro and same front and rear track as the Camaro SS so that would indicate it is probably on the Alpha. It looks good but not a GN. I really dig it! I could trade my wife's Q60S in for it and she wouldn't know she's driving a Camaro also : )

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE MODERN DESIGN OF THE 2016 CAMARO SS offering visibility and interior room.

http://www.buick.com/avista-concept-coupe.html

  • 8-speed automatic transmission
  • 3.0L twin turbo V6
  • Rear Wheel Drive
  • Twin exhaust outlets
  • 20” aluminum wheels with color-toned accents
  • Front fender vents with chrome accents
  • Touch-pad door handles

That would probably hurt Camaro sales unless its priced out of sight for most, oh yea the Camaro is also priced out of sight for some also. Its a really killer looking ride. It might bring some from the dark side to Buick including me. So yes, build it and we will come.

Wow!!
I'll eat my hat now.

Alpha platform, TT V-6, RWD, AMAZING looks.
This is the best thing GM has turned out in a LONG time.

GM needs to build this car. ASAP.

I'd trade my SS on that IF it comes with an LT1

Agreed. The lack of a LT1+manual transmission kills it for me.
The ONLY way I'd buy a 3.0LTT and auto would be if it had AWD.

My dream car right now would be a 2017 SS Sedan built on Alpha with a LT1+M6 or a ATS-V with AWD.

Beautiful! Rear visibility looks great but I wonder if they could build the roof without a pillar between the front/rear glass. I.e. Roll down rear glass

Given it is the 3.0L and not the 3.6L, I am guessing the are targeting overseas markets for most of the sales. If that is the case, then I don't think they are worried about siphoning off Camaro sales.

I agree. The new 3.0L and 4.0L industry wide are all about overseas taxation of vehicles. Very sad. Just one of the many reasons I bought my 2016 1SS with a stick.

AWD would be more possible for Buick. That would make a great package.

And agree on a CTS sized Chevrolet sedan with an LT1. I'd really like to see GM take the Impala to RWD offering the 2.0T and 3.6 along with the LT1.

Other than CAFE I struggle to see why not.

Yes they could. Mercedes already does.

The 3.0TT is the top engine in the CT6.

Anyone think this would look better on Omega? I do.
