Love those wheels, specs?

I'll keep an eye out for your 1SS. Love that color by the way! I'm looking at a Mosaic Black one that Hendrick's Chevy has on their lot.
Mosaic Black is damn good looking! Hendricks is the place to go too. It'd be nice to see a few more 16's on the road in KC, so you may need to pay them a visit .

Spot on about cracking down on the pointless things. I can just see in the near future adding front license plate violations to that list. It's probably only a matter of time before the State turns to mandating front plates as a means to generate some revenue and make up for the budget shortfalls.

I work pretty close to PA and there are a bunch of cars without front plates around here. Hopefully I can get away with it. Never got pulled over of my bike for my vertical mounted plate.

I live in Texas and I have not had front plates on my last 4 cars, spanning 10 years. The only time I got a ticket for it was in 2007, when I was pulled over for speeding and the cop decided to pile on another charge. No problems since.

I live in California and I definitely plan on running the front plate. without it just gives the man a reason to pull you over and mess with you. You can get a ticket for no front plate while your car is parked ! on a public street in California. I was with a person in Pasadena California and saw the ticket With my own eyes. I'm ordering the new California black plates which will really help the look.

Has anyone found a way around the front license plate issue?
Can you please post some pics?

Thanks!

Hi guys, figured I'd chime in since I was mentioned... I've been selling 5th gen brackets since 2010, and I do plan on offering something similar with the 6th gen...

As they've just finally started showing up locally on the lots I've just now been able to start looking at them and taking measurements. I tried ordering just body parts a couple months back from the dealer parts dept, but for some reason, they were not able to place an order at that time. I do finally have some parts coming in that, according to the dealer parts guy when I talked to him yesterday, should be here by the end of the week, taking longer than normal to get here because they are coming truck freight.

I've had several people asking me when/if I'm going to make a 6th gen bracket of some sort, and I will. Now that I've got some measurements and cars around to try prototypes on it will make life easy and production much quicker to get rolling. I can't guarantee they will attach the same as the previous 5th gen brackets if you are familiar with them, but we will see. I'm looking at a couple options at the moment.

Bang! Same here in Oregon, you can get a ticket for no front plate even if you car is parked on a public street, or parking lot.

I always run a front plate, because it's just one less reason to be pulled over. It seems like every time I try to go without one, I get pulled over like clockwork. I guess I just have bad luck

Not going to have one. I'd rather pay a ticket twice a year. I live in Ohio.

Keeping the aesthetics aside, is anyone actually worried that it is going to block the airflow to the radiator? I am more worried abt that, than the beauty at this point. granted it looks much better without it, but what can you do? I dont want the cops and my wife.. both pulling me over to explain why I am running without them.. lol..

Hi,

Do you have any pics of the 5th gen?
