I can't believe no one has discussed the fact that 2017 will be 50 years for the Camaro. I can't wait to see what they come out with for that. Maybe a special edition ZL1 or Z/28. We'll just have to wait and see. I did hear that GM is supposed to release something at the Detroit autoshow.

I remember awhile ago that they said every 6 months for a release of a camaro product. Not sure if they are still sticking with that idea. I suspect that any 50th anniversary edition would be similar towards 45th anniversary or synergy edition models. But I agree we need to see something next wk. Or at least say that a 1LE, ZL1, Z28 or special 50th anniversary edition is coming with some performance #s.

Rumor is that the ZL1/1LE is already coded into our computers, but there are others on here that can speak to this soon.

The Chicago Auto Show may have a few important reveals, maybe one of the HiPo Camaro's will be there. Detroit is usually the big one though.

I hope I have not missed my chance to buy a Camaro with a 427 so I'm wishing a 50th anniversary Z/28 is available in 2017. Come on Chevrolet!!

Might want to go pick up a 2015 Z/28 for around $20,000 off MSRP. They are all over Cars.com and Autotrader. If they drop under $50,000 I may not be able to resist myself.

HAHA!
I've seen it all, now! A website (on which all things MUST be true)...is sourcing information from a Dealer (who is definitely kept in the loop).... ![]() Dealers usually don't know things until after we do, here on the website. And for reasons that should be obvious, I can all but promise you that the dealers have no knowledge of future plans for the car.
