These tires would never make 45k! Summer tires usually go about 20k. Rears....YMMV

To update my replies... I know I wrote it somewhere about the tires... I love the tires, performance is there, there is no road noise at all (2SS seems to have extra sound deadening though). I cannot comment on the treadlife though as I only have 560 miles on them lol. I would assume I could get 20k out of em though at least... PSS's you can get 30k out of em without babying, so worse case... I will just switch to PSS's lol.

Wait wait wait, are you actually suggesting that GM based their decision somehow on physics and tests for the best performance instead of what actually happened (lowest supplier contract bidding)?

Goodyear has a long history(just read tire rack reviews) of runflat side wall failures!
Probably the last place to buy runflats!

I see where failures were noted in the Asymmetric 2 Run-Flats, but not in the Supercar G:2 Run-Flats. Didn't look below Max Performance Summer because you wouldn't cross-shop the G:2's against anything below that level unless you were flat-out abandoning the G:2 performance level.

Count on there being detail differences in carcass construction between the Asymmetric 2 rf's and the G:2 rf's, so let's hold off slamming the G:2 RF's until we actually hear that specifically those Goodyears are also failing, m'kay?

But these tires just came out. They haven't even been tested yet.

I have not read any complaints about them and every review expounds the handling of the Camaro. They sound like a winner to me.

I love them! They offer great handling and are really not that much $, check tire rack, they are about the same $ as Michellin PSS's, but are also a run flat tire. I am tracking my car, so I do not want to buy a track only tire that offers no run flat option.
