Becky, this is a question for you as a dealer: I'm ready to do an in-and-out trade in of my 2013 Camaro to a coworker. My dealer has agreed to broker that deal as a trade in, then transfer to my friend plus taxes and a fee. We agreed to do that today after work. I checked with my salesman a bit ago and he says that his manager can't finalize the trade in because my 2016 isn't there yet. I call BS, because I bought my 2013 two days after the VIN was stamped and it hadn't even been shipped yet. I think they suddenly don't want to work the deal because my salesman promised me a loaner to use until the 2016 arrives.
What do you think? I love being able to tap your vast knowledge of all things automotive! Thanks!
