What tint percentage?
Getting my windows tinted tomorrow. What percentage would you guys do your tint on the windows?

20 is a great percentage. Not sure if it's legal anywhere, but Florida cops don't enforce tint laws unless they can't see in at all. 20% over the factory 70% on the 5th gens brought it down to a total of about 16%.

20% is safe, but state laws may vary.
I did 5% on my 2014, and enjoyed it for a good while, till my wife got caught. California doesn't allow any tint on the front side windows, and the CHP has been cracking down on window tint in my area... sucks. |

Isnt it personal preference? Or are you just going for looks?
20% looks cool, but I myself do not like it. Too dark for me at night. |

i'm going 23% all around, have done this on all my cars. Looks good and dosn't get too dark for night driving.

I'm in Texas and don't like attention from cops so I stayed legal and had the fronts tinted with 35%. The rest are 5%. It looks like a cave in the back and I love it!

In NY rear window & visor can be any %, side windows legally 70%. I went 20% on the visor & rear windows, then 45% on the sides.

I'm planning for 35% on side, and 25% on rest of them.
I don't want to admit, but I guess I'm getting old: hard to see out with darker tint when it's raining or something...
