Golf Clubs

Yes, the 6th gen will fit one full set of clubs. Should have taken the cover off, but there is a full set of driver, woods, and irons. My golf shoes and other things are also in the bag so its not a small bag.

For comparison, this is how much more room a 5th gen has:

Haha you can definitely tell that the trunk space is a little smaller. No problem with me tho. I hardly even use it anyway

Thanks for the pics and info....Looks easy enough for one bag with some room to spare, but two bags would probably have to jockey in with the rear seat down....Do-able, I suppose, but not ideal.....

Oh well, looks like the rear seat down for more cargo room might happen more often with the 6thGen than the 5th....but, that's why the rear seat folds down...Might as well use it for that if needed.

I did find this, just for fun....

Hey look my Envoy's out in the parking lot. I must've been inside while you were doing this.

This was during the first hour of the event.

I asked the guy if I could do it and he said he wasn't sure at first. But then he said he was also interested to see and to go for it.

You must have a very old driver.

I couldn't get my clubs in any way shape or form with my driver in the bag.

If you have an older 43" driver, yes. A new 45"? I couldn't even get the driver in by itself.

So we are getting mixed reviews and it seems to be so close that the newer drivers are the deal breaker.

Tough to tell what clubs you have with the cover on.

Just flip the backseat down. They'll all fit.

Not like anyone's riding back there anyway

Yes it is a 43" Taylormade R7. It was a tight fit with that so the 45"-46" drivers of today won't go in the bag. Don't see why you couldn't take it out of the bag.

Getting my golf clubs in the trunk of my Camaro is NOT the deal breaker for me. I did not buy my 5th Gen Camaro worrying about getting my clubs in the trunk. Yes the bag fits, and yes I have to still remove my driver and place it in there separately. Now that I am back to playing golf regularly again next year. I will be placing the clubs on the back seat, as the trunk already is semi full of cleaning containers, AMP, etc. No room in the inn for the clubs, Back seat is not being used, might as well store the clubs there, just cover them up with a dark sheet.

As for my clubs fitting in my not yet purchased 6th gen. I don’t see me taking that Camaro to the golf course. So not a problem for me (yet).
