Recall wth!!!
Don't shoot me everyone I got a word from my buddy at the Camaro dealer, he just got an email saying that it's a recall on 6th gen Camaros
 that's all I know for now maybe someone that knows more or someone from Gm. can chime i!!!!!!! That is all I know for now just wanted to put it out there.

Recalls take quite a bit before they are issued. Service bulletins are done first. And before that techs usually have a heads up as well.

And he didn't tell you what the recall is for? And you can't just ask him?
Anyway.. I'm sure we will see recalls. The sooner they do it, the better. |

I was actually at the dealership today. Went to schedule an appointment for bow tie install and was not told about any recalls. Appointment is for monday so I'll check again when I get to the appointment.

My guess here is that the OP's friend doesn't know the difference between a service bulletin and a recall, and the OP didn't ask for specifics. He then proceeded to come on this forum and start a thread without double and triple checking sources. Starting with the NHTSA.
