Any major changes to the Mustang will likely happen when the Lincoln Continental arrives at flat rock.

Aluminum closures are not a big deal, and wont require the car to get re-crashed, though IIHS will recrash most cars after any major changes.

I will have a better idea of the actual delta's soon. But aside from the BIW differences when I did a ATS to S550 comparison by components. There is alot of steel, and cast iron still in the Mustang specifically in the the front suspension, which was a unplanned change aswell.

I do find this humorous, as soon as it was known that the new Camaro was going to be alpha based I looked up the info in our database, I know that this car would be very formidable with even a carryover powertrain. There are pros and cons to platform flexing, a big pro was a lightweight aluminium steel chassis to use paid for by Cadi.

It will be interesting to see, what changes when. As the been counters are very good over at Ford, and product planning is rather sound in comparison to other OEMs. Reactionary changes don't make money.

Just an update....I'm sure all of you are interested, I have the 12.21 time slip in my possession. I will post it as soon as I get permission. Just want to make sure. That 60' is good imo. Especially for stock.

She never gave me the 12.4 slip. They'll be posting the article soon and there is video. She told me not to post the slip yet and there's no point of me posting it anyway being that another guy has already been to the track with way better times and 60'.

Well, remember that other time was in - DA, from what I read the DA for Hot Rod was meh...

Please post the link when Hot Rod posts more info incase we miss it.
