This wait is becoming almost disrespectful.

This morning my salesman told me that my car has not hit the ground yet and he asked the PDI manager. He said when he sees the car he will call me. I guess they still need to PDI the car but I thought at least I could come in and start the paper work. It does not seem that he understand that I am excited to have my car. Maybe they are busy with other cars. I just don't want test driving my car or it being sold to someone else by mistake. So many scenarios have crossed my mind. By the way on all my status checks with Becky I never hit 4200. I am going to ask the dealer to print the history just to see all steps. For those at 4300 your car can hit 5000 any day.

Mine wont hit it, i can still see it out front the plant through onstar.

It would only be disrespectful if they promised us a date and time. Which they didn't. If your dealer did, go complain and get a better deal

My dealer was very clear. "Your car might be the first, but it could get held in QC like some of our vettes did. We can't promise a time frame until it is in Mira Loma's rail yard."

Your dealer most likely has gotten allocation many times for SS and LT options. They put orders in that reflect what your market seems to buy. They probably have a mix of 1LT and 2LT options.

I doubt your car is far behind. I called them this morning because they are showing 2 mosaic black cars as delivered - yours and another dealer inventory. According to PDI manager they only received the sold red hot 2SS. So information as reported is not 100% up to date.

Thank you Tom for the info!! You are awesome. I don't want to be a pain to my salesman but I wish he would have told that the car is not there yet.

I see you are the one showing 6000 because your dealer marked it that way. That sucks when your car still in Michigan. So I guess we continue to wait. We can't even get excited with any status codes because it may not be accurate.

Its marked that way because i wanted to ensure there were no test drives and no last minute price changes from the dealer like what gappened to the guy in the general forum. I purchased the car last monday. I also needed a loaner bad as i sold my trade in to carmax

Ok got it, I think there was someone else who the dealer marked it that way. I got it now you had already sold your car and completed your purchase. At least you can use Onstar to track it. Hope yours comes soon. I am waiting to hear from the dealer as to where the car is. I never hit 4200. It has been at 4300 and 4B00. I didn't check with Becky everyday because I didn't want to bother her. I was hopefully because someone else in the forum drove by the dealer and the car was there. Also in the are. Now I am concerned about the test drive issue or even the car being sold to someone else by mistake. As for completing the sale before the car arrives I am also worried about something going wrong. What if they want to keep the standard wheels or something happens to the car intransit. I am just a mess I guess. My dealer has the car listed for $3000 under MSRP so I hope I get that price.

Yea you just reminded me to insure the damn car lol, im doing that now.
