At 5'8" on a good day shrinking in my old age, LOL. Will be doing my test drive after the first of the year. My main concern is the seating position. Is it a legs strait out as in a Corvette? Sounds like you liked the cloth seating.
Thanks again for the positive review.
Legs almost straight out. It's a low car. Lower than my Accord coupe. I can see over the roof standing near it. The nice thing about the new Camaro is the accelerator is floor mounted and long, like old fashioned gas pedals or most German cars.

The cloth seems very strong and durable. Seats are comfortable and easy to find the right position for you. I was also impressed with the telescopic range on the steering column. You can pull the wheel quite a ways out, longer than my Accord. It was Honda who really had the tilt/telescope column long before GM would budge from their old 6 fixed position tilt wheel, and now GM has really decided to take ergonomics seriously. You can find your perfect driving position in the Camaro very easily.

It seems there's some wasted space in the trunk GM opted to cover over. The trunk is actually bigger than I expected but could be even bigger if they took out the sidewall lining. There's a good foot on either side from the lining to the rear quarter panel.

In the trunk the battery is on the right side and a subwoofer goes in the left side with the upgraded Bose system.

When they moved the fuel filler pipe on the gas tank closer to the front edge of the 1/4 panel near the passenger door, it makes me wonder why they didn't move the trunk side panels farther out to take advantage of the new found space in the trunk.

Why are the side panels in the trunk so narrow if there is nothing behind them to cover up?

Well, just FWIW, a Camaro with a V-6 and an auto-trans, is not a "base" car...Those items are two major additional upgrades!!!....AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Just sayin'...we haven't seen a true base car yet!!

Great review!!...The V-6 is a great option!!!

Is it just me or do you have to remove that entire trunk panel to swap out the battery?

Yes you're technically right lol. A base Camaro would be a turbo 4 6 speed and no options.

OP, did I miss something? how did the trucker run? Handled? Sound. one of the fastest V6 around ya know. Did they let punch it at all?

you say: I'm 5'6". With everything adjusted properly no one should have a hard time driving this car.

At 6' 4" and cannot see the traffic light if the first two cars in line. Rant over.

I've had this problem with every car I've owned. Not like it's exclusive to the camaro. Only vehicle without the issue was a POS Chevy S10 Blazer I had as a beater in college (actually a pretty capable and fun "truck" to beat the hell out of. Never failed me once.... Just slow as hell)
