The interior of the Camaro5 was the reason that I never bought one.
The Camaro6 is a big step forward, at least in the photos. Will be checking
the 2016 out in the metal when the local dealer gets in some.

The interior, while vastly improved, has the same design language and styles as the 5th Gen.

Example..:

I've no doubt the materials are better, but they don't look that different.

I think the biggest changes are beneath the surface, which is where they needed to be the most.

Power to weight ratio is the main reason for me buying the car, and at this price range, i believe my 1SS is a deal although i do now wish i opted for an 2ss for the extra features but i have to keep telling myself how i never used all the extra features in the g8

After seeing the car at the Finding New Roads tour I have to say my favorite things are

1. Apple Car Play
2. Better Seats
3. Better Steering Wheel
4. Amazing interior lighting (Not the light show)
4. 455hp
5. Lighter Weight

Not so Favorite Things
1. Exterior Styling is Good, but Chevy Missed an Opportunity To do a Major Redesign like every Camaro Before the 6th Gen.
2. Plastic Engine Cover
3. No 4 Pack Gauges
4. Interior Storage for Small Things Like Your Phone Still Sucks

I agree. I am very encouraged by what I've seen of the 2016 interior.

Things I like....

Lighter curb weight.
Top engine with M6 has the latest tech (D.I. and VVT).
8sp auto transmission.
Better handling.
Faster performance on all models.
Fastback rear window.
SS model bladed machined wheels

Things I don't like...

Tiered sloping dashboard top.
Binnacle pod height.
Ford Maverick style rear side windows.
Pedestal rear spoiler.
Rear bumper license plate cutout
A/C vent location.
Hood vent shape on SS models.
'70's Pong styled radio/Nav bezel.
SS emblem location.
