That about sums up my opinion too. Not really a fan of the non-RS lights, but the RS LEDs look nice.

Personally, I tend to appreciate NEW stuff, so I like the new tail lights on the 2014. When I see a '10-'13 Camaro, I see the same car that I drive - it's a new Camaro. I agree there is too much black plastic on the rear of a 2014, I prefer how the Spring Edition is color matched.

I originally thought the 2014 was styled after the 1969, until I parked alongside one at a car show...they're completely different animals!

Ugh! cant wait till the "it grew on me" term dies for good. I hate how that has been the goal it seems to have Camaro followers like the refresh, the next gen, tails, etc. Id rather GM's goal be to want the car to "pop", have some "style", blast you in the face with personality, tell you its nasty! not "itll grow on you approach". Cant wait till the term dies... You never see exotics aiming for the new style to "grow on you" they blow you away upon first sight, make your heart skip a beat. Cant wait till we all get the that level one day and really gets our socks blown off..

Well, if the tail lights are the deciding factor in buying a '16, a lot of people are going to be disappointed because the tail lights look like '14s and '15s.

The tail lights on the '16 reference the current Corvette look.

The 2014 update was CLEARLY a transition to the 2016 model. The front fascia, with the head light cutout shape through to the tail light treatment. A transition look. Even the rear lower exhaust area.

I'm just disappointed with the overall look of the 2014 update. The lower sides redesign, although slight, added a bulkier look. The rear redesign made the back average, just a blend with many other cars. The 10 - 13's looked different in a concept way. The front end just looks pinched to me. The aggressive look went away.

I was never totally satisfied with the look of the 5th Gen Camaro, hence the changes I've made to my own. I never liked the round fog/DRL sockets, The non functional mail slot and the downward grill sag the 10 - 13's have.

Again, I just have a preference for the 10 - 13's and have changed what I haven't liked to more of a look I find pleasing. Not for all, but for me.

My $.02 worth yet once again...

P.S. I have NO idea why everybody thinks the 5th gen was a 1969 look! The ONLY thing from a 69 was the grill area just behind the doors. The round wheel wells, and the coke bottle pinched waist is totally 1967 and 1968. The 1969 had a feature line over each wheel area. The 5th gen looks nothing like the 69 except the side grill.....

The '14 tailight has more in common with all gens of camaro's then the '10-13. Only four light camaro before the '10-13 was the 1970 and it was round.
