Good afternoon Becky,

Thank you for all the check ups on my order. However, I'll not be checking for 3 weeks at least now. My dealer emailed me and my car has been sent back to Lansing for QC with an estimated release of any where from 3-5 weeks.

What?? Was it just sent back today? It will show exact date and time stamps of all activity. That is just plain crazy!

It was sent back last Wednesday. Basically last Wednesday it was sent down to be loaded on a train but pulled back before it could be. It's honestly something I expected to happen, so not a huge deal. It does kinda stink, but they're just being sure it's right. That is the way I see it. It'll probably be released last week or November or first week of December I'm guessing.

I guessing I'm just going from what he said they told him when he called in this morning. This was the initial email:

Hope all is well. Unfortunately these are the emails I don’t like as a situation out of our control is occurring. Your 2016 Camaro order has been placed into Quality Control Inspection in Lansing MI on 11/11/15. Quality Control Inspections can last from 1 to 5 weeks and at this time there is no ETA on the inspection’s release. This is where they pull off a block of vehicles and randomly inspect a few of them for potential quality issues. It is a normal process especially during new vehicle launches such as the new Camaro. This was a concern of mine for awhile as I know how excited you are to enjoy your new vehicle as we are equally excited to deliver your Camaro to you. I called him after I received this and he said from the event history, i.e. Where the car is. It showed it went back to Lansing after being at a railyard.
