True that, performance is there. I am just curious of the road noise and treadlife. You can pull 30k from Super Sports and it does have fantastic performance with no road noise.

Another thing is... We are talking about tires. You will have the opportunity of REPLACING them sooner or later. Though of course, we'd like to choose the "
later" option.

I would imagine maybe 45k for these tires. I tried to search for the A2's one time and I believe there is no warranty on them from Goodyear. If you are hard on tires then obviously a lot less. I too am curious abiut road noise, usually a drawback with runflats.

Yes indeed. Runflats = more road noise. But it can also be eliminated by the stock vehicle having better sound deadening as well as engine sound w/ better exhaust (NPP should do the trick). But is there a sound on when you put everything on "tour" mode, baffles closed on the NPP and windows are up. Will we hear a lot of road noise or not?

Damn chevy... need to ship my order already! Too many questions and curiosities of mine need answering! Tires being brand spanking new didn't help with my curiosity lol.

Stopped in local tire dealer to put tires on family car. Asked if new SS tires are available. They checked and said their largest distributor doesn't list them yet. Hope that changes soon for the people taking delivery this month!

They're listed on the Goodyear website the rear SS tires are $514 each for ROF
$265 for Non run on flat.

Sorry but that's not the factory tire for the SS. The SS gets the Goodyear Eagle® F1 Asymmetric 3™ ROF. I checked the Goodyear web site and they aren't listed. Goodyear only lists up to the Goodyear Eagle® F1 Asymmetric 2™ ROF tire line.
