It's great. You'll die on impact instead of possibly surviving and being paralyzed by the later builds!

Thats faster than the new ATSV, almost as fast as a 5th Gen ZL1. I wish he had a video of the 12.21 run hes claiming.

They say they have official timing slips.

Not hard to do with an auto, especially these. Prepped track, little burnout, stage, nail it off idle...numerically high transmission gears, along with numerically low rear gears make it cake to launch. I bet you will see bone stock autos hitting 12.10's and bone stock manuals (harder to launch) hitting 12.30's. The manuals would really respond well to a 3:91or 4:10 gear set...would probably put them in the 12.10's too...

Got to see the slips, if the 60 foots are good, which on the auto I bet they will be I bet, you may only see another tenth...once they post the slips we will know more. Curious what the DA was as well...

There have been similar numbers in even bigger publications then Hot Rod. Car and Driver got a 12.3 with an auto, and Motor Trend got a 12.4 with a manual.

Judging by these burnout videos at the track, and the final state of the tires, there will be videos.

http://www.hotrod.com/news/1511-hump...o-ss-burnouts/

They also weighed both cars. A 1SS manual and 2SS auto. It will be interesting to see the difference.

I think they are putting everything together for a nice video or/and article.

I don't think the difference will be huge, maybe about 125 pounds or so. The lighter 1SS with the manual will make for a better road course/autocross car though were pounds really matter.

LOL, yeah. It won't even be 70 if the only difference is the transmission. 2SS auto with sunroof vs 1SS manual will be the biggest difference weight wise until the convertible comes out, which will most likely add over 100 pounds.
