There is no substitution for weight and if you don't need a rear seat I would go with the Z06. The Z06 will be faster in street trim in all aspects of speed and cornering than a modified ZL1. I doubt you could run 11.0's with street tires in the modded tt ZL1 and simple mods to the Z06 would always put it ahead.

I am sorry but I have to ask you a question. You say you have been racing ever since you were 15 and when you were 18 you blew your first motor. I don't know how old you are now but that means that you have raced for at least 3 years. Yet on 8/30/2015 you posted that you burned out the clutch in your ZL1 and it turns out you did not know how to do a burnout correctly. How can someone be a racecar driver and not know how to do a burnout?
