The GT350 is bad ass!!! The 16' Camaro will hang, no doubt... It is just not as good a pure performance car stock for stock...

For those Chevy lovers out there like me who want the best, you might want to wait a little longer to see what's under the camo of that "other" Camaro running around the ring...

Yeah...honestly, haven't said it yet, but I find it very weird that we still haven't gotten numbers on this car but from ONE magazine, and zero comparisons yet. Its crazy. I don't buy into conspiracies and what not, but it sure does make one wonder if the GT350 and 350TP aren't living up to their expectations, or perhaps they are just holding off on magazine reviews simply b/c it took Ford so long to get the GT350 into dealer's hands. Dealers just started to get them last week or early this week. Maybe they want dealers to have them, so people will come out for a reason, rather than read a reviews but have zero cars to see in person.

I'm really looking forward to the comparison reviews. I think it would be great to see a Z/28 versus GT350TP and GT350R comparison. I think it would also be cool to see a 1SS versus non-MRC GT350 comparison, but doubtful on that last one.

It is strange, they are hyping this track car with no relevant track times released. I still think the GT350 will impress, but I would think they would want to get those results out there by now.

Mags are simply holding onto them to use for their end of the year stuff. Ford has stated there wasnt a media embargo the past few months.

I just read that if you want to track the GT350, get the TP, or R. The manual suggest putting in all coolers if you track the car or you will get reduced power once temps rise. Also, they recommend a catch can if you track regularly.

Camaro data and reviews were flying within minutes of the embargo being lifted yet you think the mags are all holding onto it to plump up the December issues? In a free capitalistic economy, they are all racing to be the first so I highly doubt it.

Also, the Car and Driver issue that just hit the stands is the December.

So if I understand this correctly Ford says not to track the base gt350 or the gt350 with the tech because it has no coolers? So are those two the "street" versions while the gt350/pp and gt350r are the track toys? I wonder how many guys will buy the basic gt350 and have overheating problems while on the track....
