Rail autocar shortages have been often reported over the last couple of years, mainly for Corvette, probably because the Corvette lines have a high number of retail sold orderers. This could carry over to the Camaro line but since Corvette is now closer to normal production one hopes it will not.

Do you have your invoice btw? If you do, just have your dealership activate your onstar lol. Bunch of c7 guys did this so they can track their vehicles. My dealership wasnt comfortable doing that as your warranty and trial onstar/xm etc start running down so you will loose some time on em

4300 Intermediate: Build has been moved; in this case likely rail yard but also used for out of plant work

4200 will appear after 4300 indicating Dispatch again has responsibility

Still waiting on the dealer. That is a great idea, I will ask by dealer. Seems like a good trade off hopefully the dealer is flexible on this.

I've read when people activate their On-Star and track the location of their car while in transit, it runs the battery down.
So keep that in mind.
