Tracking the rail car
I thought i saw/read somewhere where users were tracking their orders and having detailed information on what rail and when it arrives. How does someone get this info?

Yes it can be done but I do not have the procedure at hand. You will need to get the railcar number from your dealer. Once you have that you use the automated phone number then key the railcar number in. Do not talk to a human operator or this access will be shut down. I recall this could be done through N&S and CSX. Hopefully this will nudge the memory of someone who has done it recently. I recall posting the instruction on the C7 section of the Corvette Forum and on the Sonic Owners Forum, a few years ago for each and at least one or two computers ago.
Laborsmith I got the procedure from Camaro5 so someone on this forum must remember where to find it. Last edited by laborsmith; 10-28-2015 at 03:43 PM. Reason: add last sentence |
