Can you tell us how you know this? Not saying you are wrong, but I just asked the sales people while at my dealership last Thursday and they showed me they can't even order one yet and the system isn't ready.

I would not be surprised for dealership people to be wrong, but you didn't say how you found out so I'm just asking.

Thanks!

I saw it on the news this morning that they will be shipping out today. People have been placing orders for almost 2 months now so I don't know what's up with your dealer. Maybe they don't have allocations to order any but you can definitely build one. Try another dealer.

I doubt they will start shipping for a few weeks yet. They will probably have a QC hold on the first weeks build. After all looks good they will ship.

Those were some sweet times. I didn't get mine 'till September of 2010, but even then they were still a hot thing. All the comments and stares... now they're old news.

I don't think the 6th gen is going to demand the attention and awe that the 5th gen did when it came out, if for no other reason that they look somewhat similar; that and the sheer bravado in that the 5th gen was the triumphant return of the Camaro nameplate.

So true. I don't think the average Joe out there on the street will know the difference.

My wife is a Filipina, straight off the boat. Her opinion of the Gen6 was..

"it has a global look"

That's a good point. Only a car nut, and especially a CAMARO nut knows the nuances of the 6th gen vs 5. To the uninitiated they're pretty similar.

Yep on the avg. Joe! I bet someone with a 6th Gen is going to make a thread about how they have a nice Mustang. It happens to me from time to time.
