Wait what?? The 2010-15 SS weighed 3,780 pounds, some sites say close to 3823.

So the 2SS weights almost the same as the 5th gen? Someone explain to me how a extra 30hp and some weight reduction equals to 0-60 in 4 seconds vs 4.8 seconds. Better trans maybe and technology?

Hopefully I don't sound negative, I love the sixth gen and think Chevy did a great thing.

3,672 on the stripper model with manual and no sun roof ect isn't that impressive.

So the 2SS weighs about the same? Someone explain to me how a extra 30hp and the same weight equals out to 0-60 in 4 seconds vs 5 seconds??

I don't think the quarter mile or 0-60 times add up.. But thats just me!
10-15 SS'S weighed pushing 3,900.

Is that a known fact? Every Site I reviewed shows 3780-3850 at the most?

When I had my 2012 SS camaro I did a lot of looking around for fun, for manual it showed 3780?

Unfortunately Pill is right about something..

MT had the yellow 1SS, plate 082 M 182 and weighed it at 3,672lbs

R&T also had 082 M 182 and put it at 3,726 lbs

That's a 54lb difference between two "official" weights of the same car.

I'm curious how that is going to pan out. Obviously someone is wrong or is lying..but who is it?

Those are not the pictures of the cars that each mag got. All of those pictures are from the press release from GM several weeks ago. C/D did post pictures of their car however.

That was a manual, the 3,760 was loaded with an automatic. Hard to get complete apples to apples when comparing a 2010 to a 2016.

Well I didn't catch that they used a stock photo, I only noticed a discrepancy.
