Will there be a 19" wheel option? Usually that's what the 2LT is equipped with. I think this 18" wheel would look better in a medium grey silver as opposed to the bright silver. I believe this is the look of the 1LT base Camaro, it definitely looked like leather seating though. What can I say? It's a Chevy, not a BMW.

Quality has improved! Even though I am not a big fan of the laser welded roof to roof rail seam, and electric handbrake. By the way, the M4 has a manual handbrake, and a ditch moulding between the roof rail, and roof panel. Even with the price increases I believe the Camaro will continue to be a great value. The 1SS being the best value in the range.

I really like that shade of red, but those wheels just look really cheap and to me screams rental car with those wheels.
To me, it doesn't look cheap, just "basic." It's easy to focus in on those underwhelming wheels and let their appearance taint the excellent (IMO) overall look of the car and its great lines.

Leather seating and NPP exhaust aside, this does look like a rental car, and no doubt there will be a good number of them in rental lots next year.

I can see the market potential for wheels like these for those who want after-market wheels, and don't want to spend any extra money on what will be take-offs. At least they look much better than the stock / basic wheels on the original Gen5 Camaros!

P.S. I think I can see a little back-up camera peeking out from below the lip of the rear bumper, above the license plate area, but I don't see any ultrasonic sensors in the bumper fascia, which are clearly evident on the models depicted on the Chevy website. It used to be that the sensors were standard and the camera was an option ... has that trend possibly reversed? Or is this just some more pre-production model weirdness?

On 2016, the backup camera is on all models. Sensors are only on 2LT and 2SS.

Interesting, thanks.

I installed a backup camera on my Jeep Wrangler, but didn't want to drill into its steel bumper to install sensors. It's great being able to see what's back there, but I miss the audible warning beeps.

One would think that by now the manufacturers would have figured out how to integrate the ultrasonic sensors so well in the bumpers that they were virtually "invisible." But if cameras are becoming the norm (oncoming federal requirement, no doubt), and sensors are becoming optional, the ability to clearly see them installed in the bumper covers may become a "feature."

Color appears different in various types of lighting. To properly judge a color it should be examined in direct sunlight. That being said, I believe manufacturers adjust the color from time to time depending on the year, model, and trim level.

Love the color and the wheels, car looks great! but can we really call this a body change? The change from 4th gen to 5th gen was insane, the 5th to 6th gen is almost nothing. The 14-15 model looks the same as the 6th gen?

I'm happy they kept the camaro look, they made it look more modern. Also its cool they got rid of the old school fog light and replaced it with a LED strip.

One thing is for sure.....those stock wheels look a lot better than the bland 18" 5 spoke. Looks like a generic pickup truck wheel. Probably on purpose to make people pay more for an upgrade.

Just too bad that we'll see tons of these from rental car fleets.

4th to 5th gen was also almost a 10 year difference, hardly fair to compare the two.

I notice night and day differences. Would figure a 5th gen owner like yourself would be pretty keen to whats new.

The last generation Camaro didn't have a high fleet sales percentage (well probably higher since the 2015 Mustang came out). So I don't expect to see many 2016 Camaros on rental lots if they can repeat the same kind of success that they had for the fifth generation.
