2016 Camaro SS Mods

First Day:
- Turn off NPP in All Modes (Relocate NPP fuse to glovebox)
- Pull/Replace 5/20 Fuses (or equivalent)

First Time at The Drag Strip (after stock baseline):
- MT DRs and Skinnys (17s on Welds)
- ABS Fuse Pull
- Ported Throttle Body
- Manual Cooling Fan Switch

As Parts are Available:
- CAI (whomever has the best no tune dyno result)
- Roll Control with ABS Override
- Catch Can

I don't think you need to pull the exhaust fuse with the new selectable exhaust selector so you can just set it to your preference like in the C7 Corvette which I would tend to believe it's a standard feature but I could be wrong.

If you get the npp yes you can select the sound you want but with stock exhaust,I I don't think so

Stock exhaust is not NPP so you do not have a choice of a fuse to pull.

I think just tires can make it an 11 second car.

Word, it is definitely a standard feature with the NPP exhaust and renders a fuse pull useless.

With my 2010 V6, I modded that sucker up and had nearly every bolt on and a tune.

With my new SS I think I'll focus more on looks (although I put just as much...actually more into the looks of my V6 also).

GM is supposedly doing an intake for the car, so I'll likely go that route, and if I don't think the car is low enough, I may go with their lowering kit when it is available, although I think the stock height looks pretty dang close to my tastes as it is stock. I can maybe see a few more small mods, such as ported TB or something like that, but really I see no reason to go much further until I've had the car for a long time, or until the warranty is nearing expiration.

But I will be doing quite a bit in the looks department again for sure.

"tune" as in tune up? What exactly is the benefit in that?

Tune as in take it to a dyno shop, let them change things like timing, AFR, etc to give it some more power. Most factory tunes are pretty conservative, and will leave horsepower on the table.

Be aware, this can void your powertrain warranty if something goes wrong and the dealer / GM denies repairs.
