As far as wheels go, I opted for the plain, default wheels. I am at 3300 status now. From a manufacturing standpoint, to maximize output off the bat, you batch build based upon a combination of major items. I believe powertrain and color are the driving forces here with some thought being lended to order date as well.

Based on your info my car actually has less options over yours. I did not get Nav or different color seats, both what you cal "small and meaningless".

I did get Black front and rear bow ties which should also be 'small and meaningless' and LPO rims, which shouldn't change how the factory builds my car as they are dealer installed.

The only real difference out side of that is color; Summit White.

I could be wrong, but I suspect certain colors will be made first, and then another batch of colors second. But, they'll all be shipped at the same time.

Also, LPO items in general may hold orders up until all dealers receive LPO items. I purposely made my order with no LPO codes in the event something like that may have happened. This is all just a guess, though.

Going thru and looking at what people orderd (whats post in sig) it appears just red moved to 3400. Now the conspiracy theorist in me noticed that there at 10 colors (based on configurator) colors 7 and 8 are the reds which are the ones I see moving to 3300. Now if tomorrow colors 9 and 10 which are the blues move to 3300 I think that configurator shows dates on which color of cars are being painted.

Anyone please feel free to prove me wrong as most of the 3300 cars today dont have color in sig and there may be some reds that are still at 3100 that I overlooked.
