I agree and have been saying it all along. People are whining louder then the blower about the NA motor. Would be nice as an option for the die hard track rats but I don't see it happening. Even more so if Vette comes out with another ZR1, Maybe that 700+hp motor will take the ZL1 name back again.

on top of that, dont know if it was a marketing exercise, but from the feedback Ive seen and the way the Z/28 ended up getting traded in with less than 1000 miles seems to speak to the fact that owners underassesed how much of a track car it was. True, it had everyday driveabilty but was extreme overkill for drivers who preferred creature comforts. I see the new Z/28 being the best compromise of both worlds.
