I did pick "one thing", per the thread's topic. For the car as a whole, ugly rear end and all, nope not dishing out $50k. This is why I prefaced it by saying it would need to have kept the original exterior of the 5th gen, or even all other aspects including the slightly lower horsepower figures of the 5th gen, with the only update being the interior of the 6th gen. Call me stubborn, but the 6th gen's overall looks haven't grown on me too much.

In order:

The Alpha chassis couldn't be better to start with.

The interior is a monumental leap. I really hated the 5G interior.

MRC is mega.

The 8AT brings it inline with modern performance auto standards (the 6R80 in the Mustang is robust but completely behind the times).

Then everything else falls into place afterward: the LT1, the entertainment features, the styling, etc.

Well since the 1LT is hooked up to the A8 and exhaust / NPP.... I am going to go with that.

The Motor itself is amazing, but finally having a NPP option for auto's on Camaro is another huge win.

Right, if GM makes a car with such a high top speed (whatever that turns out to be) it must have the aero to keep it planted on the ground and controllable, or else they would have serious liability issues.

What would the ONE thing that would make you decide to buy this car?
Considering that if I didn't like the looks of the 2016, I wouldn't care about any of the features I would have to say the styling is the most important. After that a very close 2nd is horsepower....
