My buddy at work just got a new base 5.0 in the Guard color with track pack. Got to say I couldn't stop staring at it every time I drove by, I did not like the interior one bit though, except for the recaros. The price was pretty impressive too. Can't wait to get my SS and park it next to him lol.

Car looks awesome and what is that colour? It looks really good.
I'm over on M6G, same name, and there are some very cool cats over there as well. I've met some of them when I was at the SCCA Nationals this summer racing. Like anywhere all these forums have someone who needs to be the "big mouth" and spout off. I actually find ThePills comments hilarious in a "I can't believe I'm reading this" kind of way. It's the constant spewing forth of shit that by pure volume alone once in a while he hits it. I'm not dismissing it all becuase some of it is good. Really good. But he doesn't seem to understand that when you put forth some of the crazy talk, and his obvious hatred for the Camaro IT overshadows some of the decent stuff thats in there. A true car guy loves al these cars for their ability and from where they have come. Fanboys have a single, simple kind of mind and are unable to appreciate what each car brings to the party. Also, when a person talks about thenselves in the third person they're generally consceded and stuck up, but, to write about yourself in the third person shows a whole new level of mental instability and need for mental therapy. The truth of the matter is as the big 3 keep focusing on getting what consumers want and "borrowing" others ideas, the cars will become closer and closer competitors, i.e Mustangs IRS, etc. Ford has built a very appealing car in the Mustangs and GT350 and the R version. I'll definitely be trying one out if I replace my Z but I'll also be trying out the new version of the Z and HellCat too if they bring more track focus to it. Maybe a return of the Challenger T/A could get me over there? The reality is they are building cars 100X better AND 99% of the drivers are NOT capable of using all that ability. So I fully expect to spend the next few years hearing how one guy made a hero run and then the next week it'll be someone else. Yes Randy Pobst will lay down some times I'm sure but vertually ALL of us on these forums will will run out of talent before these cars hit thier limits.

If you sign up there, and only post in the versus threads, arguing with the fanboys (not bashing, or name-calling, just real un-biased arguing) and calling out the un-facts, or miss leading posts.....you'll be banned or shadowbanned in a short time. Trust me lol.

@amerhash28: loved the message, although the execution could've been a little better. You don't want to feed him with the idea that you're getting all worked up; it just fuels him and gives others an opportunity to make you look bad. Just asking him what his underlying motive is could be enough. He's being a child, that's the only point you have to make. I'd actually be impressed if he could somehow rationalize his narrow-minded bullshit. Who the hell refers to themselves in the third person? Delusional people, that's who. Drives me mad that the sheer quantity of his dookie monologues is getting absorbed by others that don't know any better. If I made 500 guesses about power, weight, etc., and then wrapped each one up in a huge bed of fluff words and master-conspiracy-level reasoning, eventually I'm gonna be right on something. And that's all he does. He posts thirty times a day making claims on every end of the spectrum, ignores when he's wrong, and capitalizes on any claim that's remotely close. I don't want anyone to waste their time looking up his post history, but it's hilarious to see how far his claims shift. None of his info is ahead of time. He just mocks things up as it becomes public knowledge to try and narrow down his "educated" guesses. Then when all is said he goes, "see, daPill told you so. Bow down to me." |
