Great...that does save some of the cost on what I want. Now, I just have to wait to see the premium for the convertible. I will be ordering one as soon as I am able.

If I do end up getting Recaro seats, and I'm sure there are more options not listed here that I'll want, plus TTL, my car will be over $55,000. Hopefully I can talk the dealer down.
And this might be a straight forward answer that I'm not understanding, but what exactly is the heavy duty cooling and brake package? The difference between the two of them and why would I need one over stock?

Pricing
Becky has been great, but all the options haven't been priced. How about the 6-piston brakes, or black bowties, etc.

This allocation bit is total nonsense, I think GM needs to rethink this whole order system! Hell with Tesla you just order direct, I would like to see that with GM too.

I just found out I get supplier pricing through work plus $500 off. I know I saw a thread somewhere with the regular pricing and also the supplier pricing. Anyone have the link for that?

I have seen employee pricing, which is released at the same time as MSRP, but I have not seen supplier pricing, which seems to often come available some time after MSRP is released.

Oh, what's the difference between supplier and employee pricing?

When Gen5 first hit the showroom, supplier was about $500 over invoice but I understand there has been a compression of sorts and my guess is it will be around $200 over invoice.
And there is a difference between dealer price and dealer invoice. Dealer price is what Ally requires a build to be insured for from the time the build is loaded for transport to the time the build if off-loaded at the dealership. Laborsmith |

My question is, how much will I be saving by getting the supplier price over MSRP? A couple thousand?
