Best wishes for Justin Wilson.
Justin Wilson suffered a sever head injury when he was struck in the head by a piece of debris during the IndyCar race at Pocono Sunday. Justin is in a coma fighting for his life.
Just last month we lost Jules Bianchi, a very promising young Formula 1 driver who suffered a severe head injury during the Japanese Grand Prix last year. Justin fought for 8 months before succumbing to his injuries. As safe as modern race cars have become, where it's not uncommon to see drivers step out of the car without a scratch after a 90g impact, the dangers are always there, especially in open cockpit cars. I hope Justin makes it through this... You can do it man, fight!!! To all the racers out there, never take safety for granted, and be safe... |

Sad day for the whole racing.
I was in the grandstand Sunday. We all felt bad to see someone get hurt. Although nothing was said over the track sound system about his condition, most of the fans made a very somber exit, and there was no celebration in the winner circle. Thoughts and prayers to his family and team. |
