No way I'm spending $40K plus on a car with cloth seats. The 2SS is a must simply due to that constraint.

These prices are MSRP prices right? What is the average difference between MSRP and invoice price? It seems like many folks here that have ordered are paying a % over the invoice which would be lower than the MSRP, right?

Let's just say that unless your dealer is super profit-motivated, there's a lot of room for negotiation with these MSRPs...

Hey, if GM is willing to throw in a full warranty and scheduled service on my Camaro for 4yrs/50k miles I might go with it.

Everyone says "you gotta pay to play". Well the marques that you have to pay also return some favors to you the customer.

If GM is going to play with the big boys they need to step their game up too!

How about a dedicated sales/service staff for only Camaro and Corvette? People who know exactly what those cars are about, service ONLY those cars, and give preferential treatment to customers for service who own those cars would be a nice incentive for the premium we have to pay. Why should I wait in the same line for the same tech who just finish a job on a Sonic or Malibu? I paid $43k for my Camaro. It's not just another Chevy. That tin can should have to wait.

That's really not bad, lets see if it can post times like the ZL1. I just paid 51k for my ZL1, so right around the same as a new SS.

The BIG question is will dealers mark up the new SS, according to my dealer there going to mark them up 2-3k...
I'm sure a lot of dealers will be marking them up

Updated $45,785 until i find out how much black emblems are as well as the 6-piston front calipers! Not bad i plan to keep this car for a long time so spending $46k now and having the car till my daughter graduates highschool isnt bad respecfully... just saying
