That's the thing... Borla guarantee's zero drone, the whole reason I looked hard at them in the first place. And they didn't drone anywhere in the RPM range.

thats because its probably in tour or snow mode which closes the valves but im sure on sport/track mode it sounds louder.after all its a pricey option and you shouldn't expect less for more $

NoWeeds electronic cut out is definitely adjustable on the fly and gives the same 5HP/5Tq the NPP does but if memory serves at about the same price as oem NPP.

Not sure what this convertible has, but that rumble is sexy.

Glad I came across this thread. No need to spend 500 bucks on cutouts with the 2016 ss2

You're assuming they had it in tour or snow mode. My question would be; why would anyone keep it in tour or snow mode to show off the sound of the exhaust? Makes no sense.

Your right it doesn't but then again who knows? The guy taking the video may have just came up and told the driver to give him some revs and the driver may have been in tour mode.

It doesn't matter anyways. Videos do not do the sound justice. We gonna have to wait people!

Go check out the ********* page on chevy's website it specifically mentioned the new NPP exhaust tune they've been working on so we should expect something special

Is NNP something one could get installed at a later date by the dealer and have it still be controlled the same way ?

Probably not. There would be extensive work involved that would make it cost prohibitive. I would just wait until these are on lots and listen to both.

Just had a chat with Wifey... looks like I may be getting the NPP after all. We were talking about my 5.0 and she said she hated how loud it was all the time (which I frickin loved!) and with how you can turn the 'loud' part off with NPP... looks like this might be for me. Gotta keep her happy, too!

I really like that ability too. During season, I leave early and work late, so I would like being able to tame the beast while my family and neighbors are asleep.
