I've got a 1SS/RS with the reverse camera package. I don't have the gauge pack, but I'm considering adding it. Doesn't look to difficult, or expensive.

My 2 cents. I just upgrades as well...well back in may. I wanted a clean Ashen Gray, dual power seats, Boston 9 speaker premium sound and a 1LE suspension at minimun. The one I found was a 1SS. It also has the RS package and back up camera. I couldn't be happier. Wife likes cloth seats so that's a plus for her (happy wife happy life) and I was able to spend the money I saved on a few upgrades and custom tweeks to make it mine. The pruce difference between the 1ss and 2ss that was missing a few things or had things I didn't really want was over 3K. We actually got ahold of chevy customer care on twitter of all places and they helped me locate what I was looking for and helped the dealer find it. Some dealers don't put all the options in the dealer trade database (from my experience) Not sure if I'm weighing in late on this but happy hunting. Hopefully I'll see yall at Woodward.

@af1strider

I would do that but they don't make new orders anymore. I have found white 1ss's with rear vision camera and rs package but none with premium audio.

@fernanmd

Yeah the stock one is better than any other stock I've had. If dealer doesn't give good deals on 2ss's then I will settle for a 1ss, audio isn't that important if price difference is unreasonable.

@thunderkyss

My dealer we lease from has a red hot automatic. I actually think red with black combo(wheels, bowties) would look nice. We're gonna see what we can get it for.

@chiveon

I agree, if price difference is over 1-1.5k it's not worth it as I only care for audio and not other options. Hopefully I will have it by the time woodward show comes up.

Found what I want guys, came to an agreement with a dealer for a 1ss/rs. In my opinion it is a good deal I will reveal details of it tomorrow. I'm likely picking the car up thursday. They have the same model in 2ss, I'm gonna check it out see if its much of an upgrade to justify price difference. Either way, hopefully by tomorrow I am leaving with a v8. Will give my first impressions on it and my thoughts on transtioning from V6 to V8.

Finally got her! Can't leave this car man, I don't want to stop driving

I got the white 1ss. First impressions:

-To my surprise absorbs bumps better than v6
-This car is loud even in L99
-RPMS prefer going to 3k before shifting normal driving
-A lot more low end torque
-Very fast car and I haven't pushed it at all
-Stock head unit is louder , the standard speakers louder than my V6
-Looks gorgeous with rs package
-Steering feels a lot lighter
-Transmission seems tuned to be rough to give it a muscly feel

Anyways I highly recommmend getting this if you can strike a deal. Rather than going with 6th gen,you will be very happy
