Got rid of my 911 and bought a Camaro
So I just bought a 2SS After selling my Porsche 911 C4, I loved the handling, power and finesse of the the 911 but i have to admit it was boring to drive as the "nannys" looked after any mistake you made. After looking around at a few different cars the Camaro was the best fit (I hate Fords so a Mustang was out). I have owned many fun cars but for some reason I feel at home in this Camaro, it just feels right! I'm looking forward to driving it for many years!

You prefer a Camaro over a 911? You must like driving in straight lines. My car upgraded to a 1LE suspension is nice, but my 89 914 Turbo will kill it cornering.

So what year was your 911? That's a huge change if it was a newer one. I drove a couple of older ones that I would much prefer my ZL1 over any day.

I highly highly doubt this... Have you ever done any legitimate comparison? Yeah the old Porsche is nimble I'm sure, but the 1LE has ran lap times on the level of TODAYS low end 911s... (not the turbo, GT3, ect.). Your '89 shouldn't even compare.

the C4 would be a late 90s or early 2000 model.

It was an 04 so it was time to get rid of it, had a blast with it and yes it handles amazing. My daughter does not fit in the back of it at all anymore so I still wanted a fun car with 4 seats, after looking and driving lots of cars the Camaro seemed to fit right and damn it's comfy compared to the 911 so yeh I agree I would rather drive the Camaro over the 911!

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
