Our one looks no where near as good as your one but the hard lid and rear bit...maybe call it a spoiler look good, would probably look really good on your one.

They need to make one like the photo you posted but make it with the fold down read hideaway seats and midgate like on the chevy avalance. Now that would be a truck!

Recall on the earlier builds. The aluminum casting is porous and may weep. If you did not get the notice you have the newer ones.

So i got the ECM/TCM Flash a couple days ago with the new Update. BOY what a difference. The thing finally feels like a normal truck and the shifting is a day and night difference.

Thank God for this post. The Dealer had no idea of the update since it just came out at the beginning of the month.

I had mine made with a V6 in the Color to match my Camaro RRM. So as far as the brakes this recall is only for the first product runs and was fixed shortly after production started, so if you were one of the first to get one then have your dealer look up your VIN.

So in short if your looking for the fix to your Automatic Shifting problem take the info above into the dealer and have them flash your truck.

Well my best friend just bought a Toyota over the Colorado because of the nasty rake that Chevy puts in all of their trucks. He liked all the features of the Colorado better but just couldn't get past the looks. When will Chevy wake up and build a 4x4 that looks like a 4x4? If only the truck was two inches higher in the front they would have nailed it.

That's an easy fix. 3in lift in the front and your done. I've own both and buy far the Colorado is a far better truck

Simply installing a 2" leveling kit up front would have eliminated the "rake issue." The kits are inexpensive and relatively easy to install. It does wonders for the looks of the Colorado, especially when combined with removal of the front air dam.

I got a box full of Colorado stuff in the mail last week.

Backpack, water bottle w/ filter, florescent USB light with case and Bottle opener tool.

Becky didn't send it so it came from GM. She said they probably did it as part of the Trail Boss promotion.

Two words: Leveling kit.

I know leveling kits are cheap and easy, but they also change the suspension angles and lesson wheel and shock travel. Not some neither I or my buddy is looking for in a new truck. My fix is to buy only 3/4 ton trucks.

I do agree that it seems to be an over better truck then the toyota. Quality is yet to be seen though. If it likes GM's other trucks, it should be fine.
