No middle post on spoiler, unless I'm not seeing it. Color looks awesome, far better than yellow imo.

2016 Red Camaro SS

The red SS at Camaro Superfest looked great. The "handler" stated is was pre production and he would not unlock it. Here are three vids I got of it.

The car looks a lot better to me in those pics. The angles are maybe more realistic.

Thanks. I found the first Youtube video pretty interesting. It's the first real look at the gas cap. No more screw top — the fuel port is now spring-operated and automatically closes itself off when the pump nozzle isn't inserted. Pretty cool. I also had no idea the fuel door was so far forward, pretty much right under the rear quarter glass.

Thanks...those were some awesome videos, from a cellphone nonetheless. The clarity of that color popped. Red may not be my color of choice, but it almost made want that one.

Hopefully that mechanism seals well! Is that capless features on any other GM models?

Also, I'm kind of disappointed that the gas door is not a locking style. I prefer having a cable actuated opening mechanism so anyone can't just open it.

Yeah, Cadillacs have had it, but only recently.

The car had the keyless access (not sure what GM calls it). Like Comfort Access on BMW. If so I bet it locks with the doors. Probably a fluke this one was open. Doesn't the new Mustang have a capless setup as well?

I'd be very surprised if it operated that way. Why would it lock and unlock with the doors when it's something that's used every couple weeks for most people?

My 13 Mustang fuel door doesn't lock, but Ford sells an accessory for a lock/key.

To keep people from stealing gas since you won't be able to get a locking cap. It's a problem in Europe more so than here probably. Probably why BMW locks it. If I have my fob in my pocket the fuel door will unlock for example. Always a problem when I'm washing it with the key in my pocket since it will pop open when I push it.
