I am sure that $36K wasn't the MSRP. The MSRP on my 1LT was $33k.....My prediction is before options, around $34k for the Manual, $35k for the Automatic.

Not sure if you guys follow other general car forums, but the general consensus on the new convertible's looks are very, very negative.
Camaro forums and people who like Camaro's all love it. |

Side profile with the top up looks MUCH BETTER than the 5th Gen... suddenly, I'm interested in a vert. Very nice.

This convertible is anything but a disappointment. If it wasn't for the weight and price penalty I would be all over it. They just aren't my thing. But this is one of the best I've seen in years.
Haters gonna hate and obviously some people genuinely won't like it... Can't please everyone. |

Btw gm is #3 as of 2014 data. And yes we have an entire community almost entirely dedicated to hating on gm... And plenty of others that are hating/jealous/ in denial. And obviously plenty who honestly don't like camaros. I think it would be kinda crappy in a way if GM sold a million of these per year in the U.S. It needs to sell well obviously to stay in production and have good support etc. but if everyone drove the same thing how boring... http://www.statista.com/statistics/2...-global-sales/ |

Only point here is, and I can do this over and over and over, we can all find what someone else thinks is... GM stopped reporting in 2013, apparently. That makes it difficult to tell. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2013/07/...oduction-data/ I don't believe just everything I see on the internet... it's all a matter of putting together a best guess. ![]() That said, I agree with not wanting boredom... which is why I consider M-B and so forth. I was actually just going on the "everyone" concept... because I wanted to point out how unrealistic that overall viewpoint sounds.

Don't really care either way... But your argument that they are popular so they won't have people hating on them is unrealistic. It's actually just the opposite. Last edited by ULTRAZLS1; 06-27-2015 at 05:54 PM. |
