But again it seems the last bit of information here is pricing. And something tells me GM is going up market just a weeee but with the Gen6 coupe and convertible.

My only bet would be, price is going up... I'd expect a $45,400 starting price for 2SS convertible and over 40k for the 2SS hardtop.

From what I've seen the "others" avoided acknowledging the convertible altogether and in general just see this.

This convertible is anything but a disappointment. If it wasn't for the weight and price penalty I would be all over it. They just aren't my thing. But this is one of the best I've seen in years.

Haters gonna hate and obviously some people genuinely won't like it... Can't please everyone.

Not all of us love it, but many do and I actually like this one. The other sites may be non GM related. What about sites like C&D or R&T ... they may do CRAP WORK, but opinions are easy to find on their sites.

All been 1 upped? Heh... I'm betting there are still many who prefer other verts and I hear the MB and BMW's still get great reviews. Personally, I promise I'd prefer an SL Roadster over the Camaro 'vert 100% of the time, for example. In other words... not 1 upped. Looks alone, every BMW 'vert available looks better to me. There are more, but you get the point.

In the segment and price range the Camaro and in this convo the vert has one upped the competition in some ways. If your comparing it to a bmw or Mercedes I think that speaks for itself.

Btw gm is #3 as of 2014 data. And yes we have an entire community almost entirely dedicated to hating on gm... And plenty of others that are hating/jealous/ in denial. And obviously plenty who honestly don't like camaros. I think it would be kinda crappy in a way if GM sold a million of these per year in the U.S.
It needs to sell well obviously to stay in production and have good support etc. but if everyone drove the same thing how boring...

You are comparing the Camaro with BMW and Mercedes? Kind of a stretch isn't it. I am referring to the Camaro's traditional competitors, not luxo verts like you're talking about...

2015 is half over. Your link doesn't prove anything. I couldn't even find any data or sources etc. no sales numbers for half of them.Just an article with rankings and no explanation. Does it even say what year? VW sales are lower than in my link and they jumped to first? The number 10 spot they quote last years sales. It's all over the place that article has a bunch of holes. Guess the sales could be harder to track as you mentioned.

Don't really care either way... But your argument that they are popular so they won't have people hating on them is unrealistic. It's actually just the opposite.
