Convertible Wheels!

Man, I love the wheels on the Convertible! I hope they make these available on the SS coupe. I think these are some of the nicest OE wheels Chevy has ever made available. JMHO

I really don't like that black plastic cap in the center on this picture. I think it ruins the wheel. The wheel is not as concave as it looks on the car in the pictures that were taken from a distance.

Also, the wheels on the car with the top down don't even look like they have lug-nuts on them, but they sure look better. It will be interesting to see what they do.

Slightly reminiscent of the SSR wheels, which I loved. These do look great!

Could it be some sort of theft device??? Also they have posted some pictures of grey painted and silver painted and for the life of me, I can't tell any difference. Is there any?

Are you saying that you can't tell the difference between the style of the wheel, or the color?

That black plastic center cap is pissin' me off! GM needs to destroy that.

Both wheels are the same design. Grey painted standard and silver painted optional on the RS and optional on SS. I have not seen any available polished wheels in options, only on cars in pictures.

These wheels aren't the same design. They just aren't showing the Vert wheel yet in the options. Seems like a long wait for more info doesn't it?

Just noticed that there's no valve stem on the wheel in the convertible image, so that must be a computer-generated rendering? Maybe these are "concept" wheels that won't make it into production, but I sure like them.

If you look at the first picture in post 3 you can see the valve stem. So its def not concept

At the moment the Camaro accessories folks are calling these the forged wheels. The black center cap can be removed and a standard center cap added. Because of the expected high demand for these wheels they believe that it will be late in the year before you can order them as a factory installed option. Until then they will be a dealer installed option at the cost of two sets of wheels.

Notice the embossed "CAMARO" at the top of the wheel in the upper photo. These photos were taken at Camaro Fest.
