You guys who are putting the tint on the windshields does that not impair your vision at night? I would think any tint no matter what percent would?

In florida all cops tint their cars so its the law. Tinted or die from skin cancer. Lol. Let a pro do it. Ask for the brand they are using in your car. There is only a couple of brands that will last for years. Do your research. Tell your wife to remove her diamonds before sit in your car. Those scratch your tints like butter.lol

35% all around. No worries at impairing vision at night. from what I've heard, once you get below 20% it can be a little problem.

But then most of them put on a tiny swimsuit and sit in the sun on the beach... Though understandably, beach sun is not the same as car sun. Beach sun free of cancer.

I have tinted my windows with 35%. I like it because I can see out of the side windows at night. I did the darker tints years ago, always gathered more attention from the LEO.

Get your tint done professionally. Make sure you buy a good window film. Personally, I always use 3M Automotive Window Film products. Specifically, 3M CS35 (Color Stable 35% TSER). Cost is about $250.
3M Color Stable technology uses a patented nano-carbon polyester. Allows for maximum heat rejection without the metal film layer which will interfere with radio/satellite signals. - Patented 3M nano-carbon polyester technology provides excellent heat rejection combined with a tinted factory glass look. - Glare reduction: window tint allows only 5% to 50% of the light into your car. - I improves comfort: rejects up to 57% of the heat coming through your windows. - No signal interference: Color Stable films are non-metallized. - Interior protection: blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays to reduce fading of your car's interior. - UV/Skin protection: provides SPF of up to 1000, a Skin Cancer Foundation recommended product. - The name says it all: never turns purple, guaranteed for the life of the film.

Had mine tinted within a week of delivery. Used to live in Arizona, so a car with clear windows seems real weird to me - gotta have some tint!
