Maybe us locals can get a cruise leaving from Uno's or someplace closer to the Willow Grove exit of the turnpike (Home Depot/Millers Ale House) and meet up with others on the turnpike along the way.
Sounds good!! I will only go for the day also.

Do we want to go as an orginazed group?

How many of you guys going? Do you want to go as SEPA5? The event manager contacted me a while back. I don’t usually go. Here is part of what was sent to me.

I am the event manager for the Carlisle GM Nationals in Carlisle, PA, and I wanted to speak with you guys about becoming an officially recognized club with us (SEPA5). Basically, we like to work with clubs to promote the show field's growth, but also make a fun atmosphere. We offer incentives such as club tents and prizes for club attendance. We also encourage clubs to use us as a mini-meet, or even official meet location, since we cover all zoning and setup - you just arrive and have fun! If you think your group would have interest, please feel free to email me or call me.”

This looks pretty groovy, what do you others think? How many of us are interested in attending? Let's get a count....

This is going to be my first year going to Carlisle, I purchased a showfield pass for all 3 days, would love to meet some of you guys. I am new to the forum, only had my Camaro for about a month now and live up near Allentown.

Carlisle is the better show. Until Camaro Nationals picks a different weekend so I can go to their show without giving up GM Nationals I will choose GM Nationals every year.

I plan on meeting up with Kevin and going to Carlisle as well. Didn't buy a ticket yet, just want to go up for the day on Saturday, is that what you guys are doing?

How about it Kevin?

I thought I explained this in the New England Camaro Nationals thread in which you posted a comment. Please go visit The New England Thread about participating in the Camaro Nationals. The issue is people like yourself who are not informed as to why both shows are on the same date and why "Neither show" has changed their date. If you read my response to your post in the New England thread you will be educated. It really upsets me that people make these types of comments without knowing the whole story.

If you are going to Carlisle on Saturday, Check out the Nationals on Friday. If you want you could join us Thursday night for the Cruise. This way you can determine which show you prefer for next year

Meeting up at Miller's Ale House would be PERFECT for me!! Let's put it together. Should I get a ticket in advance?
