U.S. laws prohibit this feature because regulations require the brake pedal to be physically depressed to shift a car out of park. However, BMW is petitioning the U.S. government for a workaround and will offer remote parking here as soon as it is legal.

still my fave version of the 7 series, I loved the car chase in the parking garage who knew that big Beemer could light up the tires like that

I agree. I don't think this is going to top the S-Class here. This is how large luxury cars sales ended up last year

The S-Class's nearest rival, BMW's 7-Series, sold just once for every 2.6 copies of the big Benz.

Mercedes used the new S-Class styling to trickle down through their line up. The new C-Class, CLA-Class, and upcoming E-Class all have smaller S-Class looks. People like that lower cars in the line looks like the flagship. BMW, (and Audi) usually do the "Small/Medium/Large" styling. This 7 Series looks like a large 3 Series.

I love the tech in the new 7 series, the drivetrains in the new 7 series, and the build process of the new 7 series. I think the CT6 does look better. I know it's not suppose to be a direct competitor of the S-Class and 7-Series (since there's no long wheelbase version, and the upcoming Cadillac flagship on the way) but I think will do good in the large luxury market

As a former BMW owner, I have to say that this is impressive. The styling is sexy, but everything else is pretty impressive.

The s-class will always be my choice over a bmw. All bmw's to me mostly look the same, mercedes at least has different body types for each car.
