I don't remember ever noticing anyones mohawk roof on any of the thousands of 5th
gens I've looked at. It's hardly noticeable. My SS would not be the same car without my
sunroof. Even not opened, it lets in tons of light on my IO interior..
Worth every penny imo.

It's a huge feature of this car. When I got my ZL1 I didn't care whether it was Auto or Manual but a sunroof with flat roof was a deal breaker.

Even more so now.

I agree on the Gen5... but the Gen6 is way more defined. Seeing the silver Gen6 with a sunroof made me almost dislike the car. The Reverse Mohawk is needed in my opinion.

I've received several compliments on the roof of my car. Mostly from non camaro owners and especially from my cousin who has a sunroof on his 2010 camaro. It's very noticeable to me. I love the moonroofs I've had on vehicles before this but no way I'd do away with those body lines on a camaro.

When I look at just how dramatic the roof lines are on the 6th gen, it makes me wonder how much a sunroof affects the aerodynamics with the flat roof. It's pretty obvious that the roof is designed for maximum aero effect.

While it's not as pronounced as the Gen 6 the Gen 5 reverse mohawk was pretty noticeable and imo a cool look. When I got the car in May of 2012 I searched everywhere for a car without a sunroof because of the look of the roof without it. Sunroofs are apparently very popular because it took me a month to find the options I wanted without a sunroof. It seemed like every Camaro made at the time had the sunroof option.

I will be getting a sunroof as well. I'm sure GM will sell more camaros with sunroofs than ones without. They are very popular. Never really understood the reverse mowhawk hype

I use to think the same, but the look of it sticking up grew on me over the years. Plus its nice to ventilate the car and look up once in a while.

Especially on the 6th Gen the reverse Mohawk is a must... There shouldn't even be an option for sunroof on a muscle car. Get a vert.

I could live with the flat roof, but hate the way they look when the sun roof is open. Kept the Vette conv for when I want an open air car.
