Using my tape measure to my computer screen in that picture, the mooroof is 1.5" and the distance from the back of the moonroof to the top of the rear window is just below 1.75". Obviously this vantage point is horribly skewed, but with everything being equal scale I would say that it is possible to slide into the roof. Don't forget, moonroofs that slide into the roof always have an inch or two that do not actually go into the roof, even when open all the way.
So I would say it might work. The roof looks like it has less of a rake back and down than the 5th gen, and I think that was the main reason they couldn't get it into the roof was because of the slope. |
