The roofline is much more "fastback" than the 5th gen...this is a design feature attributable to many performance cars. Not just Mustang...

All the same - Camaro still has a very pronounced decklid and "shoulders". Don't worry, when you see it in person - it looks absolutely nothing like a Mustang.....it looks so much better.

From the side profile, I can see how people are drawing similarities to the Mustang. It's still very distinctly a Camaro, though.

The new Mustang looks like an angry Taurus.

I don't see any more similarly than in previous generations. I also think GM has been putting turbo 4s in cars for a while, and I am not at all suprised it is in the 6th Gen Camaro. I think the only reason Ford did it first is because they introduced their 6th Gen one year earlier. The new Camaro has been in development for years; long before we knew what the Mustang would look like or what powertrains it would have.

There are elements of the 2015 Mustang that are similar to the 2015 Camaro, the way the hips bulge out. The fact that the Mustang got a bit bigger as well....

Truth is cars borrow from eachother, however I don't think that the 2016 Camaro looks like the 2015 Mustang. I honestly think that this is a pretty big stretch to make, I mean sure sports coupe are going to have some level of similar design. The more I look at pictures of them both the less alike they look to me....
