It essentially accomplishes the same thing. However, lighter bars work the suspension more. Then again the heavier bars will keep the car flatter in the corners.

With a 27mm front bar and a 32mm rear bar the difference between the bars is 5mm.

Switching to a 24mm front SS bar creates a difference of 4mm. One millimeter in bar diameter is significant. The higher the difference number, the more neutral a 5th Gen becomes.

So a ZL1 front and 1LE rear will work good together. I scored a front Z bar this weekend so I hope to start tinkering with the suspension soon. I'm really digging the front radius arm bushings. Like Johnny Cash sang "1 piece at a time an it didn't cost me a dime (I wish)" LMAO!!!!!

You have a 1LE rear and an SS front with staggered wheels and tires?

Currently standard SS with square set up 275s all around. Right now a daily driver.

With the relatively soft OE springs you can run the 28mm 1LE bar with your stock SS front. Good to go.

Waste of time, spring rates are too low to improve handling.

I thought the ZL springs were considerablably stiffer compared to standard SS plus I want the lowering affect of the ZL springs I got them for a steal from a forum member

Sorry to say they are not going to make any real difference. Resell them before more people read this.

So how about SS springs with 1LE shocks a stock setup basically with ZL front sway and a 1LE REAR sway. So no benefit with Z springs short of the lowering effect???
