1. Keep the seals in good condition and they will last much longer just like the window seal on a non stop car. (Nothing last forever)
2. They can't fly off if you latch them down. That's a driver error nothing else.
3. Nobody steals them anymore plus they have keyed locks so once again driver error.
4. Getting caught in the rain is the same as when you have a vert. Don't you have a vert?
5. Etc.....

Except you don't have to get out of the car and manually re-install the top on a Camaro Convertible.

Could see a glass roof before targa, which would happen before T tops.

Glass roof would be cool

Glass top or a Moonroof? A glass top would be hideous and a Moonroof would be more 1970's than T-Tops. I would take the convertible first, T-Top second, a Zombie bite thrid, a Moonroof forth, a double tap from a 9mm fifth, to be lead around with no arms by Michonne sixth and then maybe a Glass roof on a camaro or be a head in a fish tank at the Governor's. That last one is a tossup.

Back in the day it was common for people to have their T-tops "stolen", file an insurance claim and then put their "stolen" T-tops back on their cars....The insurance claim was about 1k at the time.

That makes sense. I never heard about that. Then again, Ive had 4 Fbodies with T-tops and 2 Corvettes with Targas. NONE of which EVER leaked. Or squeeked. Or "flew off"! Lol

they're gone, not coming back, end of story.

seriously how often do you even see a Corvette with the targa out? I don't even see it once a year.

Big fan of t-tops. Had them in all my third and fourth gens. Wouldn't think of getting one without them. Miss them immensely. I never had a set leak, stolen, or fly off and i owned them since the mid eighties up until the mid 00s. But with that being said, I never used them as much as I thought I would. I'd guess 5-7 times per month and I live in Florida. Our truck has a sunroof and while I hardly drive the truck, when I do I always open the roof. (weather permitting).

With all that being said, if they offered the 6th gen with t-tops, I would still order them!!!

T-Tops look better on the hatchback 3rd and 4th Gens than the trunk'ed 5th and 6th Gens.
