The P-brake is really a vehicle control, mechanical in nature, and you shouldn't have to hunt for some fiddly little button to activate it. You cannot modulate how fast or how hard it grabs or get it to instantaneously release. It's all-or-nothing as far as its controller is concerned, but its motor takes its own sweet time (kind of like Mrs. Butterworth's syrup). If, as I suspect, it features an automatic disengagement when you put it in gear and attempt to get moving, its programming may be such that you ABSOLUTELY MUST have your seat belt buckled for the auto-release to proceed. Even if all you're doing is moving cars around in your driveway with no intent to go anywhere else. If your car has a manual transmission, it doesn't take many times having the P-brake causing a stall to happen before anything nice you might have said about it before to be replaced with vocabulary that'll get starred out if you try to post it here. Trust me on this. If it does not release for any reason, any mechanical means of releasing it will not be something you'd ever want to have to do a second time. My wife's Legacy 2.5GT has such a P-brake, and if it was me with the first comment on it, it'd have been mentioned more that twice and less politely. Norm

Thanks for posting these pics...
The 6th Gen steering wheel is frowning and sad.... The 5th Gen steering wheel is happy and smiling...lol I still like the 5thGen interior look better....Yes, more Spartan perhaps, but I'll take it...The 6thGen dash and door panels looks purposely more busy with no real purpose...Those new vents and mega-rings look bad, on top of the poorly chosen location by the shifter... Sorry, those are my impressions for now... |

The outer ring on the center air vents are the climate control adjustments. There are also vents on the edges of the dash for additional ventilation.

Haha, the Buick regal even has the front grill side vents. Hey, don't let me stop you from running out and buying one. To each his own... But when you see some soccer mom behind the wheel of her "family 4 cyl Camaro" you may regret it....just sayin...

I'm not knocking its looks but this is right on "Car has wandered off from badass to euroasain" Afraid its "musclecarness" is gone for good and that the Camaro has basically become a performance sports car, especially with its shortened stance and interior, which is fine for those that like that kind of style.

I'm with you on the interior. Granted, I can see why most people love the new interior. It's full of bells, toys and whistles.. .. But... I like the retro look of my '14 interior. It's basic. It has what I need. It has the gauge pack on the console and it reminds me of the 1st Gen interior. It has room in front of the shifter. It has great Recaro seats... it looks.. righteous! The 6th interior reminds me of something the guys at Car and Driver would rave about.... in a Subaru or a Lexus. I know it was inevitable that the Camaro would move into the 21st century. I'm sure GM will sell a million of them. I'm probably the only guy in the world who likes the older style interior. I don't need a heated steering wheel. I don't need fancy lights on the doors. Gimme some gauges, real V8 sound, and some rock n roll.
