Agreed because the average person isn't even aware cars have generations. That's something an enthusiast notices.

I'm with ya. Also, I didn't really care much about the new Mustang until I saw it in person. They look great. The quality is excellent and the interior is miles above both the Camaro and Mustang 5th gens.

I'm sure this 6th gen will be the same way. Especially once we get a sexy 1LE and ZL1 in the mix.

I'm still anxious to see the interior. We all know performance will be great. Please GM. Please don't fill it with plastic.

If he doesn't go far enough, the threshold for change won't be met to ensure they'll trade in before they are ready.

So tell us, what radical change in looks did you guys want? Point us to some overdone rendering that would never have a chance to actually be mass produced? Did you vet how many people actually like it besides yourselves?

Yes, you are entitled to your opinions, but in my opinion, GM had never really had a chance at getting much positive feedback from 5th gen owners regardless of what they did.
As far as the release...horrible photos on a cable news network leaves a lot to be desired. Everyone was expecting a much bigger release after how much it was played up.

As far as design, personally I anticipated something more aggressive, but that is my own fault admittedly.

My point was this type of release and lack of good pictures and details leaves little to be desired for me. Tomorrow may be a completely different story.

Still anxious to find out the relationship between Magnetic Ride and 1LE. Are they the same now? Does the existance of MR diplace the need for a 1LE? Would 1LE be MR + stiffer springs? Will MR come with a package that includes bigger rotors/calipers, etc?

Those hood vent's look stupid to me. Very cheap looking like when you see a Honda Civic drive down the street with an eBay hood scoop attached to it. They should have either made it a function ram air, hood vents on top like the 14-15 or ZL1, or the hood that Bumblebee was sporting in T4.

Bumper, not sure how I feel about the edges on the rear. And why does the side have no edges or styling? Looks pretty flat to me.

I love the front end, looks very aggressive. The tail lights could be better but also could be worse (14-15). I like how they resemble a Vette a bit. Let's not forget, we dont have any up close pictures out in the real world. Sun light, night time, will look different. I'm sure the tails look beastly at night.

I have seen trolling and nothing on here is that, just his opinion, and a valid one at that. That is all.
I'm not saying he is, just that the sarcasm in his post I quoted was starting to cross that border.

80%...Not even remotely that high. Take a look at forum membership. I would say close to half but still below it. Same thing with the Mustang GT and even more so with the Challenger. A lot of people buy without really caring anything about the history or development of the car. Even fewer join forums like this to post their opinions or research the car.

Hopefully the 1LE will be even more hardcore than the current one if MRC is available on the SS. Make it a Z/28 lite. Stripped interior, stiffer suspension, upgraded brakes.

If you want a car that is comfortable and trackable, get the SS with MRC.

I think GM had to do SOMETHING in the mainstream media to draw attention to their event tomorrow to draw the attention of the teaming masses outside the nutzo car enthusiast tiny group that includes people in this forum. Can't fault them for trying to get on a cable network to try and kick up some hype.

So it came down to a compromise of how much to show to stir interest while leaving a lot on the table for tomorrow. People can argue which side of tease vs show they fell on.

Willing to wait to see the official reveal tomorrow before I pass a solid opinion. But as it stands now, I am sooooo glad I have my 2013.

I understand not caring for a few things here and there. that seems to be where you are at. I don't really know if someone has to validate their 5th gen or not. I didn't make that comment, so I have nothing further to say about that.
Whatever man I don't even care. People are way to sensitive. I'm not trolling. Haven't made a negative comment about the car. I have 4 Chevy's currently in my garage. A 66 stingray, 68 camaro, 2013 ZL1 and I just sold my 11SS.

I have also been on this forum in one form or another since the it was created. Please this isn't the playground. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings in anyway. But I stick to my guns the cars looks are not exciting and not what I personally would like to have seen for this generation. Its my opinion deal with it. Its a car forum. Hence drinking the koolaid. If you all want to sit and say the same thing then just talk aloud and pound the keys with your eyes closed... I personally like conversations with different views on the subject. Sorry.

Am I the only one who would have preferred a super aggressive SS hood like the T4 bumblebee had?
